this was me experimenting with my friends digital...it was nearly pitch black out, but we had rigged up a light of sorts so we could play scrabble, and i thought his hands looked neat illuminated by the light
fun idea - if you had been playing on a ouija board it would look really creepy !

Next time, use a tripod.

@Suby: Pardon my possible ignorance, but a tripod for what? for clarity? if so, the tiles themselves were not meant to be crystal clear, as the focus of the picture was the hands, and i was rather satisfied with the look...i think that a sharper image would have, in my opinion, made it too contrasted, too bold of a picture. i think in its current state its darker, more subtle, mysterious hands coming out of the shadows. if you beg to differ, by all means i'd love to know your opinions.
also, at the time, my tripod was being used to jerry-rig said lighting effects.
Being the hands in that picture, I happen to know she used a tripod. It was holding the flashlight. :-P i'm curious why you said to use a tripod?
